It has launched Bajaj Platina, a new 100cc bike automotive Bajaj to take on TV Star City. The cheapest version will come to Rs 34,500, while the highest version of Bajaj Platina will cost Rs 36000. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Bajaj expects to sell about 75.000-80.000 platinum units per month.
The engine specifications and performance indicators of Bajaj Platina are not available so far.
Bajaj makes bikes for insertion with Bajaj CT-100 and Bajaj discover 112. The segment of integration is being consolidated by the arrival of Bajaj Platina.
